Leslie Goldberg, M.D.
Dr. Goldberg earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University and received his Medical Degree from The Chicago Medical School with honors. He spent a year as a surgical intern at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center followed by two years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps where he held the rank of Captain. Afterwards, he completed his Ophthalmology training at New York University Medical Center. He is well respected for his expertise in the fields of cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and cosmetic eyelid surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Hofstra University School of Medicine and is the former Director of Ophthalmology at St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Goldberg is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. He is member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the New York State Ophthalmological Society, the Long Island Ophthalmological Society, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Nassau County Medical Society. He has been listed in the Castle Connelly Guide of Top Doctors, New York Magazine’s Best Doctors, Newsday’s Long Island Top Doctors, and Best Doctors in America.
